Andrew Leipus, Physiotherapist
Andrew is an experienced Physiotherapist who has settled with his young family in Ballito, South Africa. Born and educated in South Australia, Andrew holds Bachelors degrees in both Exercise & Sports Science as well as Physiotherapy. He also holds a Masters Degree in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy and has been granted the title ‘Sports Physiotherapist’ by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
He has been actively involved in the health, fitness and sports medicine/science industries in various capacities for 30 years across Australia, England, South Africa, UAE, Pakistan, Canada and India. He has vast experience working with a broad variety of elite sportspeople. Possibly the highlights of his career have been five years working as Head Physiotherapist of the Indian Cricket Team, and twelve years with Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League T20 competition. Most recently he was head of the sports science and sports medicine departments overseeing the wellbeing of all the Indian National cricket team players at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore, India.
Andrew is also an enthusiastic sportsperson, and has participated widely in sports over his lifetime including Aussie rules football, road running, triathlon, tennis, surfing and more recently golf, trail running and mountain biking. He brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and international experience to the residents of Ballito and the surrounding area.

Kaitlin Holgate, Physiotherapist
Kaitlin is an enthusiastic, open-minded Physiotherapist, with a keen interest in rehabilitation and patient satisfaction. A born and bred Durbanite, graduating Cum Laude with a Honours Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, in 2016, Kait went on to do her mandatory community service at Klerksdorp/Tshepong Provincial Tertiary Hospital in the North West, where she developed a fascination for neurological, and orthopaedic conditions.
Post “comm serve” she has been based at Umhlanga Hospital, dealing with an array of sport, orthopaedic, ICU and neurological conditions. She was a part of the rehab team involved in one of the first diaphragm stimulator implants in SA .
Her experience in treatment includes sporting events such as: Comrades Marathon, Iron Man, SA Junior Waterpolo Qualifiers, SA national schools tournament as the KZN Wheelchair Basketball physio. Furthermore, she has also gained experience as one of the medical staff at Varsity College Rugby Club.
Her most recent qualifications is completing her Post Graduate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 2019, as well as qualifications in dry needling and cupping to name a few.
A recent home owner in Ballito, she is keen to familiarise herself with her surroundings, get involved in the community, and hopefully improve her golf skills!
